About Me

Bilingual Speech Therapy is my passion.

Jessica Bryson (née González) was born in Houston, TX but raised in the border town of Laredo, TX. Growing up in a Mexican-American family and traveling often into Mexico to visit relatives granted Jessica the license of bilingualism-- being able to speak fluent English and fluent Spanish.

Right after graduating from high school, Jessica took to college and within four years graduated with a bachelor’s of science degree in early childhood education specializing in bilingual education from Texas A&M International University in 2003. Having also attained her teaching certificate, Jessica dedicated the next several years to working in the public school system in Title I funded schools, both in her hometown of Laredo and in the Fort Worth Metroplex area.

However, while working as a bilingual elementary school teacher and reading interventionist, Jessica noticed the need for fluent bilingual speech therapists to help properly evaluate and treat the predominantly Latino population who often struggled with speech and language disorders. This interest led her to graduate school where she took courses in communication disorders that eventually turned into a master’s of science degree in communication disorders from Texas Woman’s University in 2012. Since then, Jessica has worked as a speech language pathologist in the private outpatient field as well as public schools (Keller ISD, Fort Worth ISD & Denton ISD) with bilingual and monolingual caseloads. Her services have garnered many success stories from her young patients. It is with passion and unyielding dedication that Jessica Bryson, M.S. will endeavor to continue helping the community of North Texas.
